- Nisab Threshold: 87.48 grams (7.5 tola) of gold, following the recommendation of the majority of contemporary Islamic scholars.
- Zakat Rate: 2.5% of net zakatable wealth, as agreed upon by scholarly consensus across all four Sunni schools of jurisprudence.
- Method: Primarily based on the Hanafi school of thought. Other schools of thought may have different methodologies for certain categories of wealth.
